Richard de Bastion releases his new album on BCB Records this summer. “Sixtyfour” is a beautifully delivered collection of songs that are both personal and universal: British Song writing at it’s finest. Richard recorded “Sixtyfour” half in his current home Berlin and the other in Devon, UK. Live, dynamic and engaging stories that leave you thinking as well as humming the melodies after a first listen. “Sixtyfour” is Richard de Bastion’s fourth solo studio album. In a performing and composing career that began as a teenager in the 60’s, he has worked with artists such as John Bonham, The Edgar Broughton Band, Sally Oldfield, Jim Caphaldi, Wölli Rhode (Die Toten Hosen) and Hansi Behrend (Ideal). Recent projects have included Hip-Hop composition and productions including the first single release by the infamous German rapper Sido. Richard’s music has crossed many genres and has taken many shapes, but has always captured the listener’s hearts and imaginations. “Sixtyfour” is a personal milestone that builds on all of this experience.
